About Dreamscapes

Hi, I’m Renae.

Photographer, mum of three, and the face behind Dreamscapes Imagery.

Dreamscapes began in Darwin, NT, with a love for capturing families as they really are - the connection, the chaos, the tiny details and all those fleeting moments you wish you could hold onto forever.

In 2026, life changed a little. Our family packed up our home, moved into our caravan and set off to travel Australia. Dreamscapes came along for the ride.

Now, I open a limited number of photography sessions in the towns and communities we visit along the way. My approach hasn’t changed - relaxed, natural and centred around genuine connection - there’s just a whole lot more of Australia waiting on the other side of my lens.

The Experience

A session with Dreamscapes is calm, playful and deeply personal. Wherever we find ourselves - wandering through the bush, chasing little ones along the beach, exploring an open field or simply soaking up the last of the afternoon light - it’s about capturing your story as it truly is.

You don’t have to know how to pose - I’ll guide you gently with prompts and play to bring out real emotion and connection. My sessions are designed to feel effortless and genuine, with space for laughter, quiet moments, and all the little in-between bits that make your family unique.

From our first message to your final gallery, I want the process to feel easy, joyful, and memorable - a small pause in the busyness of life to reconnect with what matters most.

You’ve Enquired
You’re here - and I’m so excited! Once you’ve made your enquiry, we’ll chat through the session options so you can choose the package that best fits your story. Nothing’s locked in just yet - this is where we dream up what your session could look like and start the journey together.

The Process

How your experience unfolds

Step Two

Lock It In
Once you’ve said yes, all that’s left is to sign your agreement and pay the retainer fee. That’s when your date becomes officially yours, and we can begin planning all the beautiful details. I’ll also send through the invoice for the remaining balance of your chosen session.

Step Three

Planning Time
You’ll receive a short questionnaire so I can get to know your family and your vision better. From there, we’ll plan the finer details of your session. Depending on where Dreamscapes is currently travelling, we’ll use a little local knowledge and explore the area together to find a beautiful location that suits your session. I’ll then send through your prep guide with everything you need to feel ready and relaxed before your session day.

Step Four

Session Day
The best part! This is where the magic happens - connection, laughter, cuddles, sandy toes, and little in-between moments that tell your story naturally. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but mostly, we’ll just let the moments unfold.

Step Five

Your Gallery
When your gallery is ready, you’ll get to relive your story through my eyes - all the emotion, movement, and warmth of the day. You’ll have the option to upgrade your package, add extra images, or select prints and keepsakes if you’d like.

Step Six

The Final Touch
This is when your finished gallery lands in your inbox. If you’ve ordered prints or products, they’ll arrive soon after - tangible memories of this chapter, ready to hold, frame, or gift. Many families tell me this is the moment they decide to book the next one.
